Bigfoot Hoops hosts the world's premier young athletes at this year's Las Vegas Live tournament, where top-tier players showcase their skills amidst fierce competition. This event not only showcases some of the top players from the United States, but also features talent from 10 different countries! Among the many participants, there are future stars who aim to make their mark on the basketball world. Here are some guys who are making their mark this weekend: 

Aleer Chol / Bucket Warehouse / Class of 2026 / 6'8 Wing

This Australian prospect has a very high ceiling. His feel for the game and IQ sets him apart from others who are his height. Able to play point guard and make the right decision in the pick and roll, has a fluid jumpshot, and slides his feet well on defense.

Beckham Black / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'2 Guard

Black is a pass-first pg whose basketball IQ and awareness is through the roof. Has nice pace in the pick and roll. Always in the right spots while also setting his teammates up for success. Gets great shot contests while defending both layups and jumpers. Vocal leader for his team and loves to seek contact.

Chane Bynum / AE5 Gold / Class of 2025 / 6'10 Forward

Lengthy forward who fills it up from deep. Has a nice touch around the rim as he can put it on the floor for aggressive attacks. His length allows him to rebound at a high rate and protect the paint.

Chase BadBear / Montana United / Class of 2026 / 6'7 Wing 

BadBear has a game that translates well to any level of basketball. He is a  lengthy wing who buries triples, plays aggressively on defense, and crashes the boards. Working on creating his own shot and making p&r reads would take him to another level.

Christopher Hunt Jr. / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'1 Guard

Hunt Jr. will be a problem in his upcoming season at Duncanville. The 2027 pg is a high IQ defender, lights out shooter, has quick and active hands, and is dangerous when attacking downhill. Despite being young, adding strength would take him to another level.

DaMarrion Wickware-Wesley / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'4 Wing

Wesley is an exceptional athlete. Showed his athleticism by his quick leaping ability and effortless dunks. This versatile wing has demonstrated a willingness to rebound, a knack for knocking down jumpers, and the capability to guard positions one through five at the hs level. Currently holds Division 1 offers from MSU, OU, and CSUB.

Damond Matthews / Selby Elite / Class of 2025 / 6'4 Guard

Matthews is a fast, athletic guard who takes pride in his defense. His bread and butter is getting out in transition for easy 2’s, but he also is efficient on rim attacks and midrange jumpers in the half court setting.

Danaus Cockrell / Squad Basketball / Class of 2025 / 5'8 Guard

One of the best defenders at the tournament. Will give you everything he has the whole game. Showcased his tenacious defense by getting on-ball steals and keeping his man in front of him. Also showed that he can lead his team in scoring.

Dawson Battie / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'8 Forward

One of the most versatile athletes at the tournament. Battie showcases nice coordination for his size, combined with impressive mobility and activity. Elite rim protector, dunks easily, and rebounds tenaciously. ESPN ranks him as the second-best player in Texas and the 25th in the nation.

Devan Chrision / Prominent Elite / Class of 2026 / 6'8 Forward

A long forward with a strong frame. He is most dangerous in the close range where he pulls up for mid range shots, hooks, or floaters. Plays hard and aggressive on both ends of the floor.

EJ Andrews / WCEUA SoCal Frazier / Class of 2025 / 5'10 Guard

Shifty guard who attacks off of his quick-twitch moves. Scores at the rim with various finishes. Very confident and unselfish player with noteworthy court vision. 

Elijah York / MMB Elite / Class of 2026 / 6'4 Wing

York has excellent touch around the rim. Knows how to locate missed shots for putbacks. Asserts himself on the court as he gets to the rim frequently. Shows versatility by knocking down outside shots.

Grayson Jalal / West Coast Elite / Class of 2025 / 6'4 Guard

Jalal is a proactive player. Exhibited his smooth jumper as he was consistent from three point range despite hands in his face. Has a nice and solid frame, makes accurate passes, has a great shot selection, and never plays rushed even under pressure.

Jalen Brown / Louisiana Hoops / Class of 2025 / 5'9 Guard

Quick, strong, and fearless guard that gets downhill at will. Didn't back down from any matchups. His speed and agility allows for him to be a great on-ball defender. Despite his height, he made his presence known every game.

Jayvon Johnson / AE5 Gold / Class of 2025 / 6'0 Guard

Quick, athletic playmaker who loves to gets his teammates involved. Pushes the ball in transition exceptionally well and embraces contact. Both mentally and physically tough.

Jedd Maurvais / Ocoee Chaos / Class of 2026 / 5'9 Guard

Runs the show for the Ocoee Chaos. Has good ball control and makes it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him. A lot of guards attack off the dribble, few have a knack for getting to the rim as instinctively as Maurvais does.

Jorden Edmonds / East Cobb Playmakers / Class of 2026 / 6'3 Wing

Super bouncy wing with next level athleticism. Edmonds has great hands, quick reaction time, and nice defensive awareness. He showcased his jumping ability after crossing over a defender to set up a monster slam dunk.

Josiah Jones / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'1 Guard 

Jones is a crafty guard who brings high energy and activity the entire game. Defends well as he is laterally quick. Knocks down open shots and has various moves to beat defenders off the dribble. Able to finish over bigs. Possesses strong playmaking skills, but further development in this area will enhance his overall game.

Kellan Cantrell / AB Elite / Class of 2027 / 6'3 Guard

Consistent three point shooter. Isn’t afraid to attack the rim and active on defense. When running a set, Cantrell knew exactly where to be and executed precisely. 

Keyjuan Odum / Ocoee Chaos / Class of 2025 / 6'8 Forward

Odum defended the paint very well and stayed solid on his feet. Set big and hard screens that allowed guards to get downhill. 

Makalele Palid / Supreme Hoops Canada / Class of 2027 / 6'7 Forward 

This high energy forward impressed with his activity on the boards. 2027 Palid displayed his ability to rim run the entire game and cleared space for teammates' drives. He defended very well as he made it difficult for the other team when attacking. Very vocal on the court. Adding a midrange jumper will widen his game. 

Nate Mcdaniel / East Cobb Playmakers / Class of 2026 / 5'10 Guard

McDaniel is a quick, shifty playmaker with next level ball handling skills. Gets paint touches often to create for himself or others. Has a nice left handed stroke from three point range as he is a trustworthy shooter. The more consistent he gets with his crafty finishes around the rim, the better the player he will become.

Noah Sangaré / Team Skywalker  / Class of 2025 / 6'9 Forward

High-flying forward who slashes to the paint and finishes at the rim frequently. Though primarily playing off the ball, he can also facilitate and make pick and roll reads with the ball in his hands.

Noah Treadwell / AE5 Gold / Class of 2025 / 6'3 Guard

Treadwell has great size for his position. Showed that he could create easy looks for both himself and his teammates by shooting it off the dribble and also penetrating to drop it off to bigs. A very strong, competitive, and confident athlete. 

Owen Gateretse / NexGen Basketball / Class of 2026 / 6'5 Forward

An active and aggressive forward. Displayed his will to win by crashing the offensive glass for put backs. Finished around the basket through contact often.

Ozmandias Savage / West Coast Elite / Class of 2025 / 6'6 Forward

Bouncy forward who uses his athleticism to rebound aggressively and consistently protect the rim. Showed coordination and awareness by converting on alley-oop attempts and putbacks.

Samori GuynessWCEUA SoCal Frazier / Class of 2025 / 6'2 Guard

A guard who plays under control and at his own pace. Efficient when slashing to the rim and capitalizes on three point opportunities. 

Vance "Nue" Simmons / Just Us Elite / Class of 2025 / 6'0 Guard

Simmons has an advanced IQ for his class. The 6'0 unselfish pg makes the game look effortless as he is never sped up, gets to his spots with ease, and sets up his teammates with precise passes.

Willes Frederick / Billings Elite / Class of 2025 / 6'4 Forward

Frederick is a forward who controls the paint. Has a keen awareness for rebounds. Stays solid on defense as he walls up and gets stops against bigger players. Blocks shots to protect the rim. Nice stroke from the mid range.
